Kanchanjunga was forbidden to trekkers before this region was opened in 1988. This mountain is situated on the border of Nepal and Sikkim (a state in India). So particularly, it is not possible to take a circuit of this mountain. It is suggested you to visit the north and south side of the mountain from the Nepal side. Equipped for a high crossing, this trek requires enough time (3 to 4 weeks). A special trekking permit is required to trek in this region

Day 01 : Drive Kathmandu to Dharan or Hile 1960m.
Day 02 : Drive Dharan to Basantpur 2200m.
Day 03 : Trek to Chauki 2700m 2930m.
Day 04 : Trek to Guphapokhari 1620m.
Day 05 : Trek to Naisum.
Day 06 : Trek to Mitlung.
Day 07 : Trek to Chiruwa.
Day 08 : Trek to Sekathum.
Day 09 : Trek to Amjilasa.
Day 09 : Trek to Gyapla.
Day 10 : Trek to Ghunsa.
Day 11 : Rest day at Ghunsa.
Day 12 : Trek to Khambuchen.
Day 13 : Trek to Lhonak.
Day 14 : Trek to Pangpema (North Base Camp of Kanchanjanga).
Day 15 : Trek to Ramdung.
Day 16 : Trek to Gunsa.
Day 17 : Trek to Gyapla.
Day 18 : Trek to Amjilasa.
Day 19 : Trek to Sekathum.
Day 20 : Trek to Chiruwa.
Day 21 : Trek to Hangdewa.
Day 23 : Reserve Day for in case.
Day 24 : Trek to Suketar.
Day 25 : Drive back Suketar to Birtamod or suketar to Brt to KTM by flight.
Day 26 : Drive back Birtamod to Kathmandu.
